The World Is Getting Better!
According to Bruce Kriger, CEO of Kriger Research Group International www.kriger.com, leading training institution and clinical research organization, the world is getting better, no matter what critics say. Today’s life expectancy is the highest in human history. In Western countries, we no longer die of measles at age five, nor do we run much risk of succumbing to pneumonia at age thirty. The quality of life is considerably better than it was a hundred years ago, at least in developed parts of the world.
Of course all this came along as a result of tremendous progress in medical sciences and pharmacology. Fortunately, the time when anyone could claim to be a “great healer” are over. It is necessary first to obtain a medical license, which documents that its holder has been trained according to the highest standards of modern medical knowledge and practice.
Similarly, new medications and medical devices must be licensed by the government before they can reach pharmacy shelves, demonstrating that researchers have presented solid scientific proof of their safety for human use, and that their efficacy is sufficient to justify any risks or potential side effects.
